Even the smallest donations can make a difference, for example:

  • R20 (USD 2) Pays for return transport for a mother to visit her child at the children's HIV/AIDS clinic
  • R25 (USD 2.50) Buys a water container with tap-safe water in summer (ensuring that water-borne infections are not spread)
  • R 200 (USD 20): Many children are admitted to the paediatric ward with severe malnutrition, in addition to the illness which brought the child to hospital. Prior to this admission, the mother will not have known that her baby is HIV-positive. A South African governmental child care grant provides the mother with R 280 (approximately USD 30) per month per child. This amount will put food on the table. Until such time as the grant application procedure has been completed, a bridging grant from Kidzpositive will support the child's access to food.

Ndebele cards

Our new product 'Ndebele cards' feature beautiful ethnic designs on beaded squares with a pin attached so you are buying more than just a card and your purchase is supporting a family affected by HIV/AIDS.
