The North Eastern University Human Services Senior Seminar Class held an event to benefit Kidzpositive. The class of 6 students hosted the event at a restaurant and lounge in Boston, Massachusetts. There was live entertainment, raffles of NFL Patriots apparel autographed by quarterback Tom Brady, wine, Movado jewellery and an appearance by the Patriots player Lonnie Paxton. Over 300 guests attended the event and US$1,000 was raised for Kidzpositive.
The organisation has an international appeal and is supported by students around the world. As a recent volunteer at Kidzpositive, I constantly remember the children and their mothers from the clinic. Kidzpositive is a welcoming, non-bureaucratic organization that uses donations where they are needed most, directly for mothers and children.
